Canine

life, camels’ backs and dustbins

When Archi, my rescue greyhound, arrived in my life, he only had one eye.  To be honest, that’s why I chose him (if it hadn’t been him, there was a lovely chap with three legs who looked gorgeous!)  I was told he had had an infection which they couldn’t cure so it had to be removed.  I’ll never really know, but I believe he was probably in a fight with another dog; he’s very reactive to other dogs and we work very hard to keep him calm.  I’ve noticed that some days are better than others, sometimes with no apparent reason.
